🎓 General Workplace Safety (OSHA)

OSHA 10-Hour & 30-Hour General Industry

This is the foundation of American workplace safety. Our OSHA-authorized outreach training is designed to be engaging, practical, and highly relevant. We move beyond “death by PowerPoint” and use real-world case studies and interactive modules.

• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry: This 2-day course is the essential certification for all entry-level and general staff. It provides a crucial overview of worker rights and employer responsibilities. Key topics include: Introduction to OSHA, Hazard Communication (HazCom), Electrical Safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) overview, and Emergency Action Plans.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry: This intensive 4-day course is designed for supervisors, managers, and anyone with safety responsibilities. It is a deep dive into *managing* a safety program. Students will learn not just to identify hazards, but how to conduct risk assessments, manage safety programs, and understand the legal and financial ramifications of non-compliance. Topics include all 10-hour subjects plus in-depth modules on Machine Guarding, Confined Spaces, and developing a compliant safety program.

🚧 Construction & Specialized Industry

OSHA 30-Hour Construction

The construction industry faces unique and high-level risks. This 4-day course is the gold standard for supervisors, site leads, and project managers. It provides comprehensive training on OSHA’s 29 CFR 1926 standards. We focus on the “Focus Four”—the four leading causes of death on construction sites: Falls, Electrocution, Struck-By, and Caught-In/Between.

Fall Protection & Scaffolding Competent Person

This is our most critical hands-on course. “Fall Protection Competent Person” training is not just a certification; it’s a life-saving qualification. This 8-hour course combines classroom theory with practical, hands-on workshops.

• Theory: Students learn to identify fall hazards, understand OSHA regulations, and calculate fall clearance distances.
• Practical: Students will properly inspect and don a full-body harness, identify certified anchor points, and set up various fall arrest systems. We also cover the critical components of a rescue plan.
• Scaffolding: This module covers the requirements for a “Competent Person” to oversee the erection, dismantling, and daily inspection of supported and suspended scaffolding systems.

Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) & Exposure Control

A mandatory annual certification for any employee who may come into contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM). Our course is designed for healthcare workers, lab technicians, and even support staff (like housekeeping). It covers the full scope of OSHA’s BBP standard, including:

• Understanding pathogens (HIV, HBV, HCV).
• Implementing an Exposure Control Plan (ECP).
• Proper use of PPE (gloves, gowns, face shields).
• Sharps safety and needlestick prevention.
• Decontamination procedures and post-exposure protocol.

ISO 45001: Implementing an OHS Management System

This is the global standard for Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Management Systems. This course is for leadership, EHS managers, and HR professionals. It is not about *specific* hazards; it is about building a *system* to manage safety. We teach the “Plan-Do-Check-Act” (PDCA) model to help your organization establish policies, processes, and objectives to proactively improve safety performance.

Safety Leadership for Supervisors

A strong safety culture is built from the top down. This course is one of our most popular, designed specifically for supervisors and team leads. It focuses on the “soft skills” of safety leadership, teaching managers how to:

• Communicate safety as a core value, not just a rule.
• Lead by example and correct unsafe behavior constructively.
• Conduct effective “toolbox talks” and safety meetings.
• Lead an unbiased incident investigation to find the *root cause*, not just assign blame.
